Dark Side Winery  - Mission Viejo, CA

Located Near Beautiful Lake Mission Viejo, CA (below left), The Dark Side Winery was created in February 2000 by Rich Veague and Bryan Skelly while sitting on a beach in San Felipe, Mexico (below right) listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" and drinking a bottle (or was that 3) of wine.  Pink Floyd's music has long inspired us to do many exciting things and it is only proper that our name and logo draw from that inspiration.  Besides, all of our wines are Red Wines as we only deal with the "Dark Side of the Grape"!

We get our grapes from the Filipponi and Thompson Vineyard located approximately 20 miles east of Paso Robles, California, near Shandon.  These grapes are of the highest quality and we could not produce our award winning wines without them.  Check out the photos page to see some great shots of the vineyard.
